KAT Wholesale Outdoor (Olathe location) is looking for an Account Representative to manage a group of assigned accounts and be the main point of contact for those customers. Your proactive nature and sense of urgency will support your efforts to efficiently meet the needs of your customers. The right applicant for this role will utilize their intuition to get to know the needs of their customer and capture up-sell opportunities. The multiple accounts that you manage will allow you to have variety, be independent, and establish new accounts while engaging current customers. KEY Responsibilities:*

• Process future customer orders – Research and acquire material, give advice on plants, and offer substitutions if needed.
• Develop and grow the customer relationship – Proactively know and understand our customer needs.
• Be an expert resource for customers – Demonstrate knowledge of the landscape/nursery industry.

Major Job Duties:*

• Promote KAT Wholesale Outdoor as the leader in quality, service, and availability.
• Manage assigned customer accounts.
• Familiarity with on-hand and future inventory.
• Facilitate delivery/pick-up.
• Inspection of material and orders.
• Promote KAT product lines and services.
• Provide sales forecast through management of future orders and customer quotes.

Minimum Qualifications*: This is the minimum level of education or experience that is required to be placed in the position.

• 5 years in related field
• Experience in customer service and sales
• High School diploma
